You will support winter operations including but not limited to, snow clearing, water/sanitary emergency repairs, operation and maintenance of light equipment, and other general labour functions as required. </div><div> </div><div><strong>Job Responsibiities: </strong></div><ul><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )"><div>Ability to read cemetery maps and records for the purpose of locating cemetery lots. </div></li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Safely and efficiently complete projects, tasks, as assigned by the Operations Manager, Public Works Manager, and Public Works Supervisor. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Perform grave openings, closing and restoration, and assist in layout burial sites.  </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Maintain the turf at the cemetery (35 acres). </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Safely operate a variety of equipment to assist in the maintenance of the cemeteries. i.e., Compact backhoe, zero-turn lawnmowers, gas powered trimmers etc. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Assist with interments. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Act as flag person for various construction projects. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Report damage claims to the Management team. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Rotate on an on-call schedule for off hour coverage if required. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Placing of hot and cold asphalt patching along the roadways in potholes/ road cuts etc. </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Repair and replacement of traffic signs, road signs and guardrails.  </li><li style="font-family:'arial' , 'helvetica' , sans-serif;font-size:14px;color:rgb( 0 , 0 , 0 )">Preventative maintenance of equipment;
