Toronto, ON Hourly Rate: $44.10/hr Employment Type: Full-Time  Permanent Responsibilities: •	Proactively execute the needs of a 24/7 operation while being able to respond to changing demands with short notice. •	Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of High-Speed, PLC Controlled Processes and Packaging Equipment. •	Use and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers, instrumentation, and PC to observe and repair machine function. •	Maintenance of electrical Plant Utilities such as lighting and emergency lighting/generators. •	Calibration of Process Control Instruments and Controllers. •	Timely completion of Preventive Maintenance Routines and Work Orders. •	Assist in project work, equipment modifications and new installations as required. •	Ensure the EET Shop is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. •	Practice safe working methods as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Internal Management Policies to protect personnel and equipment. •	Ensure instrumentation equipment in the shop and personal tools are operational and safe to use. Any defective equipment is to be returned for repair or replaced. •	Other assigned duties as per business requirements. •	Follow all GMP Rules & Regulations and Quality Checks •	Work according to ISO 14001 Environment and OHSAS 18001 Safety requirements Qualifications: •	A Licensed Electrician with an Ontario Journeyman's Electrical License (309A or 442A) and a good working knowledge of PLCs & electronics. •	Membership or eligibility for the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists is required •	Knowledge and/or Working experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), especially with Preventive Maintenance Pillar methodology is preferred. •	Strong computer skills, with working knowledge of factory systems and SAP is highly desired.
