You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, supporting compliance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), and contributing to process improvements.<ul style="text-align:justify"><li>Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with ASPE and internal reporting guidelines.</li><li>Draft Management’s Discussion and Analysis, summarizing key financial metrics, trends, and business performance drivers.</li><li>Compile monthly financial reporting and analysis for the Board of Directors and Ownership, ensuring accuracy and clarity.</li><li>Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements and supporting schedules.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of audit-ready financial documents, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.</li><li>Prepare impairment memos by gathering and analyzing relevant data, collaborating with operations teams, and supporting external audit requirements.</li><li>Conduct accounting research and provide recommendations on complex financial reporting issues, ensuring alignment with evolving standards.</li><li>Assist in developing policy and process documentation, working with business leaders to ensure practical implementation.</li><li>Support the budgeting and forecasting process by compiling data, analyzing variances, and assisting with monthly budget-to-actual comparisons.</li><li>Enhance internal reporting processes by improving data accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility for management decision-making.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and ensure consistency in reporting and reconciliations.</li><li>Contribute to the professional development of finance team members by sharing knowledge, supporting training initiatives, and fostering a strong financial reporting function.</li><li>Supervise, mentor and develop finance staff, fostering a positive team environment that promotes professional growth and continuous learning.</li></ul>POSITION REQUIREMENTS<ul style="text-align:justify"><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.</li><li>Accounting Designation required (CPA; CPA, CA).</li><li>Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting or auditing with a focus on the preparation and review of financial reporting.</li><li>Possess a good understanding of ASPE with demonstrated knowledge and ability in researching and documenting new accounting guidance and accounting treatment of issues.</li><li>Oracle/Smartview expertise (desirable).</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.</li><li>Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.</li></ul>  COMPETITIVE SALARIES.....Worth it!PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES.....Rock it!GREAT BENEFITS.....You bet!CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.....Absolutely!LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES.....Always! Posting Open Until Filled
