We are urgently looking for a highly skilled DATA SCEINTIST to join our team & support the continued growth of our business. You will be responsible for analyzing data sets, identifying trends & working closely with our different departments to understand data needs & providing tailored solutions. As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for the following job duties:<ul><li>Implement cutting-edge techniques & tools in machine learning, deep learning & artificial intelligence to make data analysis more efficient.</li><li>Collect, clean & analyze large datasets from various sources to extract meaningful insights.</li><li>Conduct research regarding availability & suitability of data.</li><li>Develop data mapping methods.</li><li>Operate data base management systems to analyze data.</li><li>Visualize data in a way that allows a business to quickly draw conclusions and make decisions</li><li>Develop artificial intelligence models and algorithms and implement them to meet the needs of the organization</li><li>Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the data & develop hypotheses.</li><li>Triage & diagnose poor performing models.</li><li>Propose evidence-based strategies to improve existing development & business challenges.</li><li>Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.</li><li>Highlight key data sources & the methodology to be used on a particular project.</li><li>Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to extract meaningful insights.</li></ul>Experience & Skills<ul><li>5 years or more.</li><li>Experience in programming will be an asset.</li><li>Proficient in data base management systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms & data visualization techniques.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable business insights..</li></ul>Job Type: Permanent, full-time position. Salary: $48.38 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week.Overtime: applies after 44 hours per week at 1.5 times the wage.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field.Language Requirement: Fluency in spoken and written English;Interested candidates please respond to royalcanadiansteelcareers@gmail.comStrictly no phone calls please.
