Services Technician

As a Technician for Canadian Crane, you will provide services such as installations, repairs and preventative maintenance including inspections of overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment. o Troubleshoot all overhead crane components and communicate detailed findings, corrective action and solutions by documenting on supporting work orders.

As a Technician for Canadian Crane, you will provide services such as installations, repairs and preventative maintenance including inspections of overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment. Some of the important requirements and characteristics of this position are (but are not limited to):o    The ability to get the job done, by being a “doer” o    Able to perform under pressure, and meet high expectations in a demanding and fast paced environmento    Able to motivate and coordinate Canadian Crane team to collectively achieve Canadian Crane’s Primary Objective o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (the ability to transform challenges into opportunity)o    High level of efficiency and organizationo    Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely express any idea, thought, concept etc. verbally or in writing with colleagues, suppliers, customers and otherso    Positive and highly motivated attitude with an excellent memoryo    The ability to focus on individual tasks and responsibilities, while working with other team members to achieve our Primary Objective o    The ability to adapt to changes and continually make self-improvements that will result in strengthening our company’s position in the marketplaceo    Troubleshoot all overhead crane components and communicate detailed findings, corrective action and solutions by documenting on supporting work orders.o    Liaison between other Technicians, Support personnel, Management and/or Customers as requiredo    Ensure customers are pleased with Canadian Crane’s service department personnel, performance, etc.
