Position Title: Hospitality Services Company Name: CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures Reports To: Lodge Manager Location of Work: Various locations in BC (near Golden, Radium, Valemount) Employee Type: Full-time, seasonal from late-June to early-September FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Number of Positions: 15 Date of Last Review: February 21, 2025 Anticipated Start Date: June 15, 2025 Position Overview Hospitality Services staff take a proactive approach to providing a high-quality guest experience and have a meticulous and committed work ethic. Their passion lies in hospitality and positively impacting the guest experience by demonstrating proven customer service skills. Hospitality Services staff care for guest rooms by making beds, cleaning washrooms, vacuuming, and accommodating any special requests related to room presentation. This team is also responsible for overall lodge cleanliness in common areas. The Hospitality Services position supports the dinner service by hosting a table of guests each evening, serving food, and assisting with the clean-up process in the kitchen. This is a seasonal job opportunity. Daily rate of pay is based on a 10-hour day, worked as a split shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Daily care of guest rooms which includes making beds, cleaning washrooms, vacuuming, and accommodating any special requests related to room presentation.</li><li>Support the culinary program with serving, clearing, and cleaning.</li><li>Execute the cleaning of all common areas of the lodge and look after guest laundry.</li><li>Provide a professional, highly organized, and detailed hospitality experience.</li><li>Support the ski program by assisting with radio duty and rescue response.</li><li>Follow OH&S, food safe, and WHMIS best-practices.</li><li>Support guests in the field program, as needed.</li></ul> Minimum Qualifications <ul><li>Post-secondary education in hospitality field, preferred.</li><li>Food Safe Certificate.</li><li>First aid certificate, preferred.</li><li>Minimum 2 years' hospitality experience in a high-end, fast-paced environment.</li></ul> Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Qualities <ul><li>Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and problem solving.</li><li>Has clear attention-to-detail with a strong work ethic.</li><li>Willingness to work long days and flexible to assist in other roles at the lodge, as needed.</li><li>Able to communicate in an effective and timely manner, and openly receive and act on feedback.</li><li>Able to work as a cohesive, high-functioning team to achieve goals.</li><li>A passion for customer service excellence and providing a high-end guest experience.</li><li>Take pride in hard work, strive for excellence, and anticipate guest needs.</li><li>Proven ability to maintain professional working relationships with peers.</li><li>Able to prioritize tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment with changing priorities.</li><li>Trustworthy and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role.</li><li>Sees tasks through to completion including follow-up on any identified issues.</li></ul> Working Conditions This type of hospitality work is challenging and demanding. Successful staff are intrinsically motivated by a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences with our guests. Work Environment: <ul><li>This job is in a remote area of British Columbia.
