<div><div>Job Description </div>DIETARY AIDE, Bonnyville, Alberta Candidates are invited to apply for the part time dietary aide position to work at Extendicare Bonnyville a 50-bed long-term care facility, located in Bonnyville, Alberta Reporting to the Food Services Manager, the Dietary Aide assists with food preparation and serving of meals. Cleans eating, cooking, storage, and serving areas, as well as equipment. Follow established policies, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities  <ul><li>Serves food to residents according to individual diets and preferences. Observes time limits for meal serving. Maintains foods at proper serving temperature.</li><li>Assists Cooks to clean and prepare such uncooked food as salads, vegetables, and fruits. Follow basic instructions in preparing such simple foods as breakfast items, basic desserts, and garnishes.</li><li>Reads and record food temperature and fridge temperature.</li><li>Clears plates and trays, loads, and operates dishwasher. Cleans pots, pans, and cooking utensils as per procedure.</li><li>Participates in proper storage and labeling of dietary supplies and food, including leftovers.</li><li>Adheres to established departmental policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control.</li><li>Receive and store food supplies on a weekly basis.</li><li>Stock unit kitchenettes</li><li>Clean and organize the food storage room on a weekly basis according to schedule.</li><li>Assemble nourishment carts.</li><li>Participates in facility meetings as assigned. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.</li><li>Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.</li><li>Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.</li><li>Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts, and the do-it-yourself public.</li><li>Establishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty</li><li>Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals</li><li>Ensures that the same high quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers.</li><li>Works with the service manager and body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.</li><li>Attends managers meetings, and holds weekly department meetings</li><li>Develops, enforces, and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.</li><li>Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.</li><li>Ensures that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Previous Parts Manager experience in a retail setting (preferred)</li><li>Licensed Parts Technician (preferred)</li><li>Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for customer service and leadership</li><li>Proven history of managing inventory, including; day supply, turns, inventory obsolescence, cycle counts, and returns</li><li>Innovative marketing skills considered an asset</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment</li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving abstract</li></ul>With earning potential of $40-50/hr, We offer a competitive compensation, benefits package, social events, and a company matched pension plan.
