The candidate will manage the implementation and optimization of marketing technology solutions and streamline workflows across various channels to enhance collaboration and efficiency. Marketing Operations Leader - Direct Marketing - Responsibilities: • Lead key marketing campaigns and programs from strategic planning through to execution and post-launch analysis • Project manage implementation and optimization of marketing technology solutions • Streamline marketing workflows, processes, and governance across various channels • Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve collaboration between marketing and other teams • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation • Apply understanding of the marketing lifecycle to identify operational inefficiencies and propose solutions • Collaborate extensively with marketing leadership and external agencies • Design and implement standardized and scalable operational processes • Establish KPIs for operational projects and provide data-driven reports • Champion change management efforts related to new processes and technologies Marketing Operations Leader - Direct Marketing - Mandatory Skills: • 8+ years in project or operations management • 5+ years direct marketing organization experience • Knowledge of marketing lifecycle and digital marketing channels • Experience with marketing technology (CRM, DAMs, Adobe/Google Analytics) • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Workfront, Asana, Smartsheet) • PMP or Agile certification • Excellent communication skills Marketing Operations Leader - Direct Marketing – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Industry experience in tax, finance, or software products • Familiarity with A/B testing and change management • Understanding of the Canadian market landscape • Experience with financial services or tax preparation products Marketing Operations Leader - Direct Marketing – Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract with an excellent chance of extension.
