Financial Eastern Star Inc. is one of the largest financial service organization in Ottawa, Ontario. A fantastic opportunity is available as we are looking for a Marketing Manager. We need a proactive, ambitious, enthusiastic people to join our team.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for a number of job duties related to marketing strategy, annual planning, go-to-market planning, as well as leading marketing integration opportunities and transformational initiatives, etc.
Main Duties
The Marketing Manager performs some or all of the following duties:
- Create and improve marketing strategies, campaigns and programs to comply with the attainment of the company’s overall objectives
- Develop annual marketing plan that supports the organization's strategic plan
- Understand and develop budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections, review effectiveness & return on spend
- Develop and deliver strategic frameworks, recommendations, creative/media briefs, and internal/external presentations
- Conduct market research and analyze the marketing data to keep up-to-date on the latest financial service and product
- Provide report and analysis of marketing outcomes and recommendations to improve marketing strategies
- Develop business plans to improve customer awareness of products, develop briefs and work with agency teams to create content strategy that achieves brand likability
- Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote sales of product and service
- Coordinate relations with relevant departments to ensure effective internal communication
- Manage the day-to-day marketing requirements, supervise and inspect the performance of duties and tasks in all positions of the marketing department
- Develop, monitor and train the subordinate employees on marketing programs
Employment requirements
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree
- Prior management experience at least 3 years
- Experience in financial industry is an asset
- Demonstrated experience presenting ideas
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Salary and Benefit
- $40-$42 per hour (to be negotiated), 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
- Two weeks of paid annual vacation after each 12 month vacation entitlement year
- Health and dental benefits package after three month probation period
