ABA THERAPIST
Our clients are incredible people seeking care in the Ottawa region and surrounding areas. After experiences such as trauma, mental illnesses, or issues in their natural development, they are looking for support with emotional regulation, behaviour management, skill acquisition, and communication development. Our clients' interests range in everything from sports, to arts and crafts, to reading, to building things, and everything in between! Working with us, you would have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the community and have access to monthly team meetings and in-session supervision. You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are passionate about working with youth, are reliable, love working in a team, have 6 months working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or providing ABA therapy, have your Registered Behavioural Technician designation, and if you have a valid Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training or equivalent.

Flexible schedule options 

RATE OF PAY: 
Starting at $32/hr


Requirements

  • Cover letter outlining why you would be a great match for Spark. Tell us who you are!
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Standard level C certification
  • Smartphone with a data plan
  • Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)
  • CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI (current certification) 

Assets

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Driver's License "G" class with access to a vehicle
  • Registered Behavioural Technician certification 

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Support Workers. In this role, you'll be supporting individuals in the community requiring direct care with personal hygiene, meal preparation, organization, and light housekeeping.

Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique. Some clients need mainly in-home support. Others require support participating in community activities. Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.
