Delivery Manager (Junior)

BMO is currently sourcing for a Delivery Manager (Junior) position on a 6-month contract.

Summary of Role:
This role is for a Junior Project Manager or Senior Project Control Officer who will manage infrastructure delivery projects within a cybersecurity portfolio. The main focus is to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. The role requires strong governance, risk management, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Project: Delivery of Infrastructure Projects
Years of experience: 2 yrs +

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Drive end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Manage risks, finances, schedules, and resources proactively to prevent delivery delays.
- Maintain delivery-focused governance, ensuring all project milestones and KPIs are met.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing challenges.
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and other business units to resolve roadblocks.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in infrastructure project delivery with an emphasis on managing execution timelines.
- Financial services experience is required; cybersecurity exposure is a strong asset.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

Desired Skills:
- Strong background in governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Skilled in tracking and reporting key delivery metrics to senior management.
- Strong leadership to drive delivery and resolve any impediments.
