The Client Services Director role is a results-oriented leader that is accountable for developing and achieving pipeline, sales, and business development results. The role includes client leadership at targeted existing and new clients and has direct business development targets comprising pipeline qualification and sales achievement, as well as cross-organizational development contributions. This position will provide Business Development support to one of our growing regions focusing on MNP’s public sector, mid-market and enterprise clients.

What you will be doing?


  • Working with Practice leaders, practitioners and advisory leaders to bring MNP’s best solutions to your clients
  • Developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and your colleagues; being a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike
  • Bringing value to your clients with a consultative approach to business development
  • Curating high value content, webinars and other related information that meets your clients needs wherever they are on their buying journey
  • Prospecting across all seniority levels of your target clients with a focus on developing opportunities through bringing both proven and new ideas from your Practice leader and practitioner colleagues
  • Developing and managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and closing opportunities
  • Showing leadership through your use of CRM and data-driven opportunity and client management

What you need to have?


  • High integrity and character which provides you with the ability to quickly build and establish trust with clients and colleagues with a professional approach to everything you do
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, strategic thinking, and ability to work to deadlines
  • A lifelong learner with growth mindset and an interest and aptitude for constant learning, growth and development
  • A love for meeting clients and an attitude that selling is simply helping clients to solve problems or pursue new opportunities to grow their business
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proven record as a team player, understanding that you will work in a matrix and that your ability to influence is key to your success
  • Client facing experience in either business development, project management, practice, solution engineering or a direct selling capacity
  • Experience with opportunity development and pursuit processes
  • Experience in one of the following: Consulting Services, Business Process Outsourcing, or Information Technology solutions, services, and markets including knowledge of competitors and competitive offerings
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent industry experience


What will make you successful?

  • You have followed a non-traditional career route to business development; especially those who have come from technical, practitioner or project management roles
  • You understand Microsoft Solutions and have worked in the Microsoft Partner network
  • You have formal sales training from one of the major methodologies; Challenger training is particularly useful
  • You understand modern digital selling, including modern marketing technology, remote selling and how to leverage data
  • You have an advanced degree
  • You have 10+ years of professional services industry experience
  • Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new products or services for a mid to large organization; change management expertise
