The District Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and maximizing the business development of the assigned district while promoting the products marketed by the company and coordinating activities in order to meet various sales objectives. What’s involved in this role: Coaches, manages, motivates and supervises a sales team of Territory Sales Managers (TSM) focused on achieving objectives within the retail sector Ensures proper execution of promotional activity, marketing and trade marketing activities while respecting budgets and deadlines Ensures that the growth of its district/territory follows the performance of the banners in its territory Recommends and establishes, in collaboration with team members, action plans and strategies to increase the level of sales and profitability for the organization Coordinates and maximizes the distribution of retail products through distributor agents and its sales team Organizes and leads coaching sessions with TSM's, completes evaluations of team members aimed at developing sales skills and core competencies Participates in the negotiation of commercial agreements Performs tasks related to the management of customer accounts including business reviews while coaching the TSM with these responsibilities Manages, promotes, and recommends effective call coverage strategies across the customer base and ensures effective management of company priorities Analyzes and communicates market information effectively Coordinates returns and tablet space management activities to achieve company objectives Management of price lists, listing and temporary discounts, as well as budget management Provide adequate sales tools to support sales coordinators in achieving their objectives What you need to join our team: • Bachelor of Business Administration, major in marketing or other relevant field; • Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a similar position, including managing staff and accounts; • Capable of supervising employees. • Excellent people skills. • Able negotiator and communicator. • Knowledge of usual computer programs. • Very sound command of spoken and written English; • Sound analytical skills.
