Job Description
Innofit Inc. is a specialty firm that serves the ever-growing condominium and rental market in the GTA. We are hiring a full-time Shared Recreation Facility Manager in the Brampton area to manage the daily operations of a Community Facility. Through Activation and customization/programming, we give residents the opportunity to engage and interact thus creating a community setting.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Managing the facility in compliance to various requirements including laws, regulations, and the Share Facility agreement
  • Effectively lead a team of 6-10 staff members, supporting them through continuous coaching and training
  • Manage the daily operations of the Community Facility including overseeing maintenance, security and reporting activities to management
  • Managing and facilitating the relationship among the ownership groups
  • Mediate relations that foster an effective and productive environment between ownership groups
  • Responsible for communication and notice to the ownership groups
  • Collecting, managing, and maintaining fund required for operation, as well as reserve fund provision from both ownership groups
  • Maintaining and repairing the facility to oversee and provide recommendations for the proper maintenance and repair of the facilities, including but not limited to arranging quotations, work orders, defining scope of work, inspection and processing of invoicing related to such work
  • Coordinate and prepare reserve fund study (every 3 years)
  • Coordinate Share Facility Committee Meeting with ownership groups, prepare agenda, take notes and prepare meeting minutes
  • Responsible for recreation and fitness programs and events, use of facilities, and communication with residents
  • Compliance with the laws, regulations, codes, and various agreements pertaining to the day-to-day operation of the Facility
  • Handling inquiries related to the Shared Facility on the whole and enforcing rules and policies
  • Creation and distribution of monthly newsletters to residents
  • Bi-monthly program and usage reports

  • University degree or College diploma in Physical Education, Leisure Studies, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or any other related field
  • Must possess two years of management and leadership experience, RCM designation - Asset
  • Requires high energy, quick thinking, excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team or individually as required
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Available to work flexible and variable hours
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in working with MS Office Suite, G Suite and overall technological acuity

The hours of work will be 1pm-9pm (Monday-Thursday) and 10am-6pm (Friday).

Salary: $34,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
