Note From the Manager:-
we are specifically looking for a PM within the GM side of our team, we need someone that has project experience in global markets, whether it be equities or fixed income either is fine.
2) No pure IT background: While our team sits within ITO, we are a team of project managers that oversees the full front-to-back chain and liaise with various different Functions. So we would like candidates that have experience beyond the IT department. While the IT experience is valuable, it is important for us to have a candidate that has experience managing communications with Operations, Business, Compliance/Legal, and can then connect back to the IT teams.
Description/Comment: Support a major global activity migration with strong operational complexity with Front Office, Trade Support, PnL, Finance and Technology teams
Responsibilities:
- Main goal is to support a major global activity migration with strong operational complexity with Front Office, Trade Support, PnL, Finance and Technology teams
- Requirements gathering and Requirements documentation updates
- Lead UAT phase:
- Writing test cases
- Running the UAT sessions with IT and Operations partners
- Tracking & Publishing UAT progress
- Development of the detailed project plan and tracking the progress
- Budget tracking
- Tracking/monitoring progress of blocking conditions prior to GO Live.
- Lead meetings with business and IT partners to gather high-level business requirements.
- Prepare slides and distribute minutes for the Steering Committee and Operating Committee meetings
- Coordinate the rollout into production
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the trade lifecycle from execution to settlement in the following areas:
- Equity Derivatives
- Securities Lending
- Fixed Income
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation.
- Identify and assist in resolution of risks and issues that will adversely affect planned project milestones.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence/Wiki
