IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with at least 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto office, increasing to 4 days a week in office starting September 15.

IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning - Job Description:
The project involves deploying components of the strategic solution for the Application Security space and providing integration support. The role will focus on the modernization of application security vulnerability testing tools and may involve working on several initiatives as the project progresses from ideation and high-level design to detailed deployment and development.

IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning - Responsibilities:
• Design and implement integrations between SaaS vendor and bank infrastructure.
• Support the integration of CI/CD pipelines to the SaaS vendor solution.
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using automated tool stacks.
• Assess and implement best practices for configuring cloud SaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements.
• Design and implement disaster recovery plans.

IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of enterprise IT experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Software / Security / Integration / DevOps Engineer.
• Expert level development experience with Python, Java, or Bash.
• 5+ years Agile and SDLC experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., Jenkins).

IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Cloud solution and containerization deployment experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with security testing tools (SAST, SCA, DAST).
• Experience/knowledge of security best practices around connectivity.
• Cybersecurity experience.
• Experience from large highly matrixed enterprise organizations.

IT Security / Integration Engineer – Application Security Solutioning – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
