- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors to facilitate function and enhance quality of life.
- Analyze environmental factors—physical, cultural, social, and institutional—that impact occupational performance.
- Develop and adjust client-centered plans in partnership with clients and other professionals.
- Use evidence-based problem-solving and judgment to address unique client needs.
- Build rapport with clients and their families, ensuring trust and mutual understanding in the services provided.
- Maintain professional and accurate client records in compliance with ParaMed’s policies and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Current registration (in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
- Open to new graduates with active licensure.
- ADP authorization is an asset.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and client-focused communication skills.
- Knowledge of community resources to support clients and families.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (within the last 12 months).
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
