We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our dynamic team in the west end of Ottawa. This onsite position involves a variety of administrative tasks aimed at ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Job Details
Responsibilities for this role include responding to emails, data entry, preparing estimates and invoices, and communicating with customers. The Office Administrator will also be responsible for answering and returning telephone calls, working directly with the operations manager for scheduling customers and crews, and keeping logs and work orders up to date.
Mandatory Skills
Candidates must have good communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of Sage Accounting and QuickBooks is considered an asset. A willingness to learn new skills, programs, or projects, along with the ability to work with little supervision and take initiative, is highly desirable.
