Operating/Stationary Engineer

Shift: Night (8hr)
Location: Sterling Rd., Toronto, ON
Rate: $47/hr
Experience/Qualifications:
•Food manufacturing/manufacturing industry experience preferred.
•Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Operating Engineer, preferably 2nd/3rd Class (Mandatory)
•Valid Ontario Ozone Depletion Prevention Card
•Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic
•Excellent mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
•Support plant production operations by operating and maintaining industrial service equipment to meet process standards.
•Effectively understand, operate and maintain all refrigeration equipment in the factory including Ammonia & Chiller plants, air handling units, air compressors, steam plant and all related government standards and regulations.
•Interpret, troubleshoot and operate the required computer systems providing accurate and timely information to efficiently operate all industrial services equipment.
•Support and/or back-up other HVAC mechanics as needed with factory operations.
•Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety OHSAS 18001, Environmental ISO14001, and Quality FSSC 22000/NQMS programs.
