Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a PIA consultant for our Federal Government client.

Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
 
- Prepare a plan and schedule for developing the PIA. 
- Review existing documentation. 
- Examine and report on existing legacy information systems and their integration into existing privacy frameworks. 
- Conduct interviews with key client personnel. 
- Gather and document findings related to data storage points, location, processing activities, data sharing, data inventory, and interoperability issues. 
- Conduct a Risk Assessment identifying privacy risks and evaluating compliance with applicable legislation and regulations. 
- Assess systems vulnerabilities including risks to legacy systems and new systems. 
- Evaluate systems for legal and policy compliance. 
- Propose mitigation strategies including technical and administrative measures. 

Deliverables
- Complete privacy impact assessment report/template. 
- Comprehensive document and report summarizing findings, risks, mitigation strategies, and an action plan. 
- Creation of PIBs as needed. 
- Analysis presenting each business line independently. 
- Final report to the Departmental Representative responsible for privacy matters and the program.
