On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Procurement, Contract Agreements (Preparation/Administration) for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Procurement, Contract Agreements (Preparation/Administration) - Job Description:
This role involves the evaluation, development, negotiation, and drafting of third-party contracts for the purchase of goods and services in line with business requirements and departmental budgets. The candidate will be preparing and analyzing contractual agreements to ensure compliance with company policies.
Procurement, Contract Agreements (Preparation/Administration) - Responsibilities:
• Prepare contractual agreements using current company templates
• Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with company policies
• Liaise with internal business partners and external suppliers
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure best terms and pricing for the company
Procurement, Contract Agreements (Preparation/Administration) - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree in logistics, business administration, or purchasing or supply chain management
• 2-4 years of previous experience in a Procurement context
• Strong market awareness
• Finance and budgeting experience
• Experience in a financial institution
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Procurement, Contract Agreements (Preparation/Administration) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Applicable Procurement-related certifications
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., iValua, Coupa, Ariba)

This is a 6-month contract position.
