Project Manager:
On behalf of our Insurance client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Cambridge, Ontario office.
Project Manager - Job Description:
Gore Mutual is on a transformation journey, building and enhancing a solid Enterprise Project Management Office. As part of this journey, the Project Manager will work on technology and business-related projects, focusing on the Guidewire Cloud Platform and maturing data capabilities to support business insights.
Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Accountable for overall project delivery and adherence to governance standards
• Proactively identify, document, socialize, and manage project risks
• Establish project budget and perform monthly financial governance activities
• Identify resource skill sets required for project delivery in partnership with technical leads
• Manage effective communication and relationships with stakeholders, including project teams, sponsors, and executives
Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• 9+ years of experience in technology and business-related projects
• 6+ years of experience in the insurance industry
• PMP Certification
• Experience with larger scale projects and operational change management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills across all levels of the organization
Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Guidewire project experience
• Experience in the finance industry
• Vendor management experience
• Experience coaching and mentoring project managers
• Advanced facilitation skills
Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.

Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely, requiring regular 1-2 days of in-person collaboration at the Toronto or Cambridge office location.
