- The Intermediate Project Manager/Leader will advance work items identified by the Sr. Project Manager, contribute to project plans, and participate in project meetings.
- Responsibilities include providing feedback, meeting deadlines, tracking project milestones, and leading assigned work.
- The role involves collaboration with client representatives, identifying and managing risks, developing project management materials, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
- The candidate will contribute to network implementation strategies, manage large-scale project plans, and mentor junior staff.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, are essential.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, applying all phases of project management concepts to large-scale, complex projects.
- 2+ years of experience in managing or contributing to public safety radio infrastructure projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate project information politically astutely.
- Experience building reports to support decision-making on project scope, schedule, and cost.
- Experience in telecommunications and radio network projects, especially in a public sector environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Experience developing relationships with public sector entities.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
