We are currently seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to work on our 14 East Unit. Humber River Hospitalâ€™s 14 East is divided into two different focuses on stroke patients and inpatient rehabilitation needs.

Reporting Relationship: Manager of 14 East
Hourly Rate Range: $30.779 -$31.253
Schedule Requirements:Rotating shifts, 8 or 12 hours, days/evenings/nights/weekends
Location: Wilson Site
Employee Group: NOWU
- RPN duties as assigned on 14 East.
- Care planning and coordination of care with various team members.
- Utilization of computerized systems for patient care documentation.
- Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing two year diploma program.
- Current RPN registration (in good standing) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BCLS/CPR certification.
- Minimum 1 year acute medical/surgical experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in a variety of skills included (but not limited to); intramuscular injections, intravenous therapy initiation and discontinuation, blood transfusion, wound care dressing, medication administration.
- Meditech experience is an asset.
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
