(External) English Responsibilities:

We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven sales intern to join our National sales team, with a focus on the Central Region. The sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the Director and/or manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instruction, but also work unsupervised when required

What will you do?

  • Working closely with the manager or assigned staff member and completing all allocated tasks.
  • Conducting market research or gathering information through autonomous research using accredited digital and human sources.
  • Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.
  • Taking meeting notes
  • Preparing Power Point presentations for Director/Managers
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company's managers
  • Conducting Sales Errands as needed for Team and customers
  • Observing and learning about SE Internal Sales Tools (BFO/Tableau etc)
  • Identifying potential market weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.
(External) English Qualifications:

The succesful candidate should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding sales interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients.

 

This job might be for you if:

  • Completing or have recently completed a Bachelor Degree (Marketing and/or Business focus preferred)
  • Driver's license required
  • Experience with MS-Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and necessary)
  • Strong self-motivation.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Ability to be resilient in the face of opposition
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments.
  • Superb interpersonal skills.
  • A professional appearance.
