Security Architect:
On behalf of our government client, Procom is searching for a Security Architect for a full-time role. This position is onsite at our client’s Regina, Saskatchewan office.

Security Architect - Job Description:
Our public sector client is seeking a Security Architect to join their Cyber Security and Risk Management Branch. This critical project focuses on security architecture and compliance with ISO 27001 standards, aiming to enhance the security posture of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Security Architect - Responsibilities:
• Participate in technical architecture design reviews to ensure adherence to security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and vendors on cloud security requirements and secure integration of applications.
• Analyze IT environments to identify security deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on security industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Provide advisory for security vulnerability remediation and risk mitigation.
• Ensure information security is integrated into architecture solutions to meet compliance requirements.

Security Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrated experience as an Information Security Architect at a senior level.
• Experience with ISO 27001/2 standards and other security compliance frameworks.
• Commitment to working full-time onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Security Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Proficiency with security tools and concepts such as IAM, SSO, IPS/IDS, and firewalls.
• Industry-accredited security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP. 
• Familiarity with the Government of Saskatchewan's technical and business landscape.
• Experience in performing security reviews for guideline adherence.
• Collaborative skills for identifying security requirements in infrastructure and applications.
• Understanding of web technologies and cloud services.
• Knowledge of endpoint, core network, and cloud security solutions.
