Senior Security Analyst
Client Industry: Healthcare IT
Contract Terms: 6 Months (1x 6 Month Extension Available)
Hours: Full Time (37.5 Hours / week)
Start Date: May 15th, 2025
End Date: November 14th, 2025
Work Location: Remote, Canada - must be willing and able to work PST Hours for duration of the Contract.
Project Description:
To work at the direction of the Senior Manager of Governance, Assessment and Awareness with other Client team members to analyze, report on, and action cyber security projects and events within the organization.
This role will participated in various meetings related to security, including discussions on data analytics, authentication, and risk management. This role will also contribute to the development of security services and solution architecture for the end client.
Job Description:
- Provide risk management subject matter expertise to the organization and projects
- Perform Security Threat Risk Assessments as required to support organizational and project activities
- Raise risks and describe them in business-friendly language and collaborate with stakeholders on risk management and risk mitigation options
- Recommend changes to streamline and improve the risk management process
- Provide expert cyber security strategic direction to the PHSA Information Security team.
- Draft, update and enhance security policies, standards and procedures
