Join the momentum. We are seeking a Written Communications Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Positioning the firm for success, our Marketing team supports the growth, business-generating efforts and goals of MNP. We develop and deliver creative and strategic programs that translate the firm’s objectives into market-appropriate media, messages and methodologies. We build and protect our brand in new and existing markets, as well as create and sustain market advantage in all service line, industry and specialty groups.



  • Work closely with the Written Communications Team to develop and manage the “voice†for the firm
  • Write, update and edit copy for all firm advertising, print collateral, social media and online communications
  • Work collaboratively to produce assets in support of MNP's national and regional marketing efforts
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels to gather information and conduct interviews for compelling copy
  • Complete research to ensure content and information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Research keywords and build search optimized content (SEO)
  • Understand the nuances of voice and content for MNP's many regions, client groups and service lines
  • Ensure all written communications adhere to MNP brand standards
  • Maintain awareness of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada standards for rules in advertising
  • Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
  • Maintain competitive knowledge of the industry

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Creative Writing or Journalism
  • Minimum of three (3) years of written communication experience
  • Experience working in a Professional Services environment, particularly a national accounting or consulting firm, considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Proficiency in French considered an asset
