More specifically, he or she will:</p><ul><li>Set priorities and ensure that tasks are completed within the expected time frame, and measure results and follow up</li><li>Perform end-of-month analyses and participate in the reconciliation of year-end reports</li><li>Prepare monthly and weekly management reports for management (cash collection report and department performance indicators)</li><li>Supervise the performance of corporate and compliance activities (taxes, deposits, provisionals, tax returns, etc.)</li><li>Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional processes</li><li>Establish and maintain a relationship with operations and payroll managers to ensure that quality inputs are obtained for the production of financial statements and control of cash management</li><li>Make improvements to the period-end process and ensure compliance with the financial statement release schedule</li><li>Participate in the production of financial analyses and dashboards (tools), the budget process and the establishment of cost prices</li><li>Participate in the year-end process and collaborate in the preparation of the year-end audit</li><li>Act as a resource person for his/her team and managers of department</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 1 year of experience or DEC in accounting with 5 to 7 years of experience</li><li>In-depth mastery of accounting principles</li><li>Good leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members</li><li>Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively</li><li>Good command of accounting software and computer tools</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li></ul><h3>Additional information</h3><p><em>Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.<br/>We subscribe to the principle of employment equity.</em></p>
