MAHA’S a popular Egyptian restaurant at 224-226 Greenwood Avenue, Toronto ON urgently require an Assistant Restaurant Manager who will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and providing customers with a safe and memorable dining experience.Job Duties of this position include:<ul><li>Plan, organize, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant;</li><li>Coordinate staff schedules and monitor staff performance;</li><li>Organize and maintain an inventory of food items and restaurant supplies;</li><li>Contact vendors and distributors to order supplies;</li><li>Resolve customer complaints and ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained;</li><li>Prepare reports and other performance analysis documentation;</li><li>Negotiate arrangements with suppliers;</li><li>Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness and follow strict labour policies and procedures;</li><li>Estimate food needs, place orders with vendors and distributors and schedule the delivery of fresh food supplies;</li><li>Respond to customer complaints by taking appropriate actions;</li><li>Supervise portion control and preparation quantities to minimize wastages;</li><li>Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency;</li></ul>Job Type: Permanent full time position;Salary: $50,000 to 55, 000 per annum depending upon qualifications & experience.
