You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and can prioritize tasks. </li></ul>You Will:<ul><li>Complete general repair services by conducting general mechanical inspections and repairs including brake jobs, exhaust system jobs, front end alignments, ball joints, air conditioning, maintenance of auction vehicles and external referrals for transmission work.</li><li>Deliver general maintenance services by conducting oil and fluid changes, tire changes, general vehicle check overs and related duties as well as ensuring that all safety procedures are followed</li><li>Conduct frame inspections of vehicle undercarriages to ensure no cracks, bends or other damage exists</li><li>Complete pre and post sale inspections including test drives</li><li>Complete motor vehicle safety inspections by conducting body, frame and damage checks, transmission, differential and overall powertrain checks, and completion of the required safety checklist for confirmation of work completed</li><li>Complete general shop maintenance, pulling up vehicles into the shop, and test driving vehicles for diagnosis of repairs required</li><li>Provide guidance and assistance to apprentice technicians learning the trade</li><li>May assist with sourcing parts & providing quotes to customer</li><li>May assist with completing work orders including parts & labor entries</li></ul>Must Haves:<ul><li>Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification</li><li>Experienced in repair and service of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components on a variety of vehicles</li><li>Valid Drivers’ License </li><li>Basic computer skills & able to utilization of smartphone required</li></ul>Nice to Haves:<ul><li> License to complete Motor Vehicle Inspections (MVI) an asset </li><li>5+ years experience</li><li>Proven ability as a team player</li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a positive and professional attitude</li><li>A motivated self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> Sound like a match?
