Job Description:<ul><li>Maintains planned and actual cost and commitment schedules, in conjunction with the Project Control Manager and Project Manager</li><li>Overseas variation and revision to existing budgets, as well as changes to scope and contract variation quotations.</li><li>Leads the costing discipline and will manage and oversee the costing staff allocated to the project on a day-to-day basis.</li><li>Analyse P6 schedules to establish opportunities to improve the certainty of completion dates of projects</li><li>Analyse P6 schedules to establish opportunities to improve on the current forecasted completion dates of projects</li><li>Establish main risks to project critical path (CP) and identify key risks and mitigation strategies to the CP activities</li><li>Establish a Nett Point management schedule with a 6-week "in view" construction activity lookahead</li><li>Review commissioning strategies, maturity, and business readiness standards to ensure alignment and awareness</li><li>Create a lessons-learned process</li><li>Review overall project control plans</li><li>Review of estimates and schedules</li><li>Review and benchmark projects</li><li>Confirm compliance with agreed plans to the PCC’s global standards and procedures on projects</li><li>Review configuration between execution strategy, capital estimate, and execution schedules in development.</li><li>Review the status of study reports and assign people in accordance with the responsibility matrix</li><li>Benchmark engineering maturities</li></ul>Qualification Requirements<ul><li>MS Project Certification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience</li><li>Primavera P6 certification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of planning experience in the mining industry</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience on large projects over $8 million CAD</li><li>Advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CAD, MS Project</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Effective communication and negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings</li><li>Canadian Citizen or permanent resident or with valid Canadian work permit</li></ul> This is a full-time position.Applications will be held in confidence.  Please send your resume and letter of introduction to info@pcc-canada.ca.
