New employees are eligible to participate on the first day of employment.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Utilize the work execution management process (WEMP), maintaining a clear overview of the volume of prepared corrective maintenance backlog and prioritizing when to bring work into the schedule for execution.</li><li>Remain aware of advances in field and look for ways to add value to the business.</li><li>Create and communicate draft schedules based on tasks, operational constraints, and corrective work order priorities.</li><li>Assist with management of change (MOC) processes.</li><li>Take initiative for own development and improvement and persistently try to improve individual performance.</li><li>Monitor and review 90-day plans, particularly in relation to equipment stoppages, outages, and shutdowns, and propose adjustments to plans as required.</li><li>Monitor work execution constraints and available work centre capacities and campaign periods, ensuring upcoming constraints are highlighted in time to address them.</li><li>Monitor work periods for specialist services. Propose suggestions on changes to trade mix to fit estimated work.</li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of different perspectives, a willingness to share knowledge and ideas, and provide a helping hand as needed.</li><li>Coordinate all schedule cycle meetings and integrate with the work preparation team and responsible personnel to assure work execution.</li><li>Assist with the monitoring and tracking of maintenance KPIs, working with the various stakeholders to act when KPIs are outside of target ranges.</li><li>Focus on producing results, taking ownership of mistakes or limitation of experience, rather than placing blame or finding excuses.</li><li>Assist with building good working / customer relationships with contractors and service providers.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Certified Interprovincial Journeyman in a relevant industrial trade</li><li>10+ years’ experience performing preventative maintenance, calibrations, and predictive maintenance in an industrial facility setting</li><li>5+ years’ experience in a maintenance scheduling/coordination role</li><li>Shutdown/turnaround experience an asset</li><li>Knowledge of Maximo or relevant computerized maintenance management system with a background in reliability centered maintenance considered an asset</li><li>Demonstrated computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel</li><li>Goal oriented self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills</li><li>Able to lead by example and positively influence a variety of individuals in a busy field environment</li><li>Capable of productive and positive interpersonal interactions in all circumstances</li><li>Permanent residence within a 120 km radius of Plains’ Empress facilities required</li><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract</li><li>Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks</li><li>Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing #Plains</li></ul>Our employees drive our success. Contract Maintenance Planner - Job Description: This role focuses on maintaining Operations assets and supporting operational integrity improvements. Contract Maintenance Planner - Responsibilities: • Work with Senior Trades, Maintenance Coordinators, and Operations to develop planned work. • Manage PM plans, and develop new and refine existing plans where applicable. • Partner with Operations in turnaround planning.
