Value is brought to the customer and the Company when an understanding of market direction and forces is aligned to be advantageous for both. This position is responsible for the province of Quebec, Eastern Ontario, and northern New Brunswick.</p><p> </p><p><strong>REPORTING STRUCTURE</strong></p><p>The Inside Sales Representative position will report to the Vice President and work in day-to-day collaboration with the Plant Manager.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS</strong></p><p>The Inside Sales Representative maintains and grows existing customer relationships.</p><h3> </h3><h3>Inbound Calls and Sales Orders</h3><p>·       Promptly answer customer phone calls for orders, quotes, and inquiries.</p><p>·       Determine customer requirements and secure the maximum invoice value for the order.</p><p>·       Responsible for selling treated lumber, treated plywood, and treated posts on short- and long-term bookings.</p><p>·       Answer inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.</p><p>·       Enter orders efficiently and accurately into the order system, including all EDI orders</p><p>·       Responsible for maintaining regional treated lumber price list.</p><p>·       Relay vital information to operations team members.</p><p>·       Prompt and accurate handling of credits and returns.</p><p>·       Promptly and professionally resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.</p><p>·       Assist in coordination of treated wood products at our treated mill facilities.</p><p>·       Responsible for assisting in coordinating logistics and transportation of treated products (inbound and outbound).</p><p>·       Work in conjunction with shipping to determine customer shipment schedules.</p><p> </p><h3>Outbound Phone Calls</h3><p>·      The purpose of outbound calls is to fill delivery trucks; follow up on orders; and offer sales promotions.
