Description des tâches et responsabilités – Spécialiste en financement du commerce Les responsabilités du poste incluent : - Responsable de l'examen, de la validation, de la rédaction et du traitement des lettres de crédit stand-by (LCS) et des garanties (y compris les cautions de soumission et d'exécution et les lettres d'indemnisation), ainsi que des crédits documentaires et des encaissements d'importation et d'exportation, et, le cas échéant, des discussions avec les conseillers juridiques internes et externes et le conseiller en financement du commerce extérieur; - Autres responsabilités liées au traitement des lettres de crédit : émission, avis/confirmation, modification, examen des documents, paiements, réductions automatiques des LCS (Evergreen), prolongation automatique, traitement des frais et dépenses (y compris la facturation et l'encaissement), traitement des factures de connaissement, participations aux risques non financés, préparation des fichiers de lots du grand livre et des rapprochements du grand livre; - Les demandes de renseignements courantes doivent être traitées et, si possible, résolues dans les meilleurs délais; - Connaître et respecter toutes les procédures internes et les directives réglementaires/juridiques externes. Exigences du poste –Spécialiste en financement du commerce - Expérience technique en crédit documentaire (3 à 5 ans) - connaissance des Règles et pratiques uniformes relatives aux crédits documentaires (UCP 600), des Pratiques internationales de confirmation (ISP98), y compris l'article 5 du Code de commerce uniforme et les Règles uniformes de la Chambre de commerce international (ICC) relatives aux garanties à vue (URDG 758); - Connaissance pratique de la lutte contre le blanchiment d'argent et des réglementations de conformité de l'OFAC; - Familiarité avec les systèmes comptables bancaires (un atout); - Maîtrise de l'anglais courant, et de l'espagnol (un atout); - Expérience dans le secteur de l'énergie et des matières premières (un atout); - Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, notamment Word et Excel; - Orientation système; - Licence en commerce, de préférence; - Souci du détail - qualité et cohérence; - Orientation service client (interne et externe); - Capacité à maintenir la qualité de service dans un flux de production rapide (délai de 2 heures). • Capacité de négociation (interne et externe); - Capacité de résolution de problèmes et d'analyse; - Maintenir la cohérence des performances et le respect des procédures opérationnelles et des directives de compte rendu de gestion; - Capacité à travailler de manière flexible et/ou à prolonger les horaires si nécessaire, y compris les week-ends et les jours fériés. Job details – Trade Finance Specialist Key responsibilities for this position include: - Responsible for the review, vetting, drafting and processing of Standby Letters of Credit [SBLC] / Guarantee language (including Bid/Performance Bonds and Letters of Indemnity), and Import & Export Documentary credits and collections, and as appropriate, discussion with internal / external counsel and Trade Finance Advisor; - Other responsibilities related to letter of credit processing include the issuance, advising/confirming, amendment, examination of documents, payments, SBLC automatic reductions (Evergreen) auto-extend, fee/expense processing (including billing and collection), billing of lading processing, unfunded risk participations, and preparation of general ledger batch files and general ledger reconciliations; - Routine inquiries should be addressed and where possible resolved, in a timely manner; - Be aware of and comply with all internal procedures and external regulatory/legal regulations or guidelines. Mandatory Skills – Trade Finance Specialist - Technical LC experience  (3-5 years) - knowledge of Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credits (UCP 600), International Standby Practices (ISP98) including Uniform Commercial Code article 5 and ICC uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG 758); - Working knowledge of AML, OFAC  Compliance regulations; - Familiarity with bank accounting systems a plus; - Fluent in English language skills, Spanish language skills a plus; - Experience with the Energy & Commodities business a plus; - Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word and Excel; - System orientated; - Bachelors Degree preferably with a Commerce stream; - Attention to Detail - quality and consistency; - Customer Service oriented (internal and external); - Ability to maintain quality of service in a fast paced production flow (2-hour turnaround); - Negotiating ability  (internal and external); - Problem solving/Analytical ability; - Maintain consistency of performance and compliance to operational procedures and management reporting guidelines; - Ability to work flexible and or extended hours when necessary that includes weekends and bank holidays.
