This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent time-management skills, and relevant background. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Conduct verification of financial transactions and procedures</li><li>Perform account receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition</li><li>Perform accounts payable functions, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments</li><li>Manage and process payrolls for staff</li><li>Complete payroll deductions and remittances, tax remittance forms, HTS</li><li>Maintain general ledger and financial records</li><li>Prepare progress reports and other financial statements</li><li>Perform other duties, as needed</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Completion of a college program or courses in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience as Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>Experience in using QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and/or similar accounting software</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and time management skills</li></ul> WORK CONDITIONS:<ul><li>Permanent, full-time position</li><li>$36.00 per hour</li><li>40 hours of work per week. Accounting SupervisorThe Healthy Way Medical Diagnostic Centre was established in 2009 and is in North York, Ontario. Our medical clinic is a full-service, non-invasive cardiology center, that focuses on the accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular risk and prevention of cardiovascular illnesses. We provide our clients with professional consultation on-site and a complete non-invasive cardiac investigation in our fully equipped cardiac testing facility. Our company is promoting an optimal lifestyle, and our main purpose is to examine the work of the heart and to identify the disease in its early stages. Our company dedicates its resources to providing the highest quality of health care to clients.THE POSITION:In order to support the ongoing expansion of our operations, we are looking to hire an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the accounting department.
