The ideal candidate will thrive in a versatile role combining design, project management and field work, with a tangible and direct impact on electricity users.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Visit sites to determine the nature of the work to be carried out</li><li>Carry out field surveys </li><li>Design overhead and/or underground distribution networks </li><li>Draw up plans using AutoCAD software </li><li>Work with geographic information systems (GIS) </li><li>Research property rights and prepare easement applications </li><li>Estimating quantities of materials, labour requirements and costs </li><li>Applying for permits from the entities concerned (municipal, ministerial, etc.) </li><li>Supervise work, in residence or in support (occasionally) </li><li>Ensure rigorous follow-up of projects </li><li>Work closely with customers</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>College Diploma or DEC in civil, electrical or telecommunications engineering</li><li>Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS), an asset</li><li>Knowledge of utility distribution and/or telecommunications networks</li><li>Knowledge of AutoCAD and the Microsoft (MS) Office suite</li><li>Ability to work on different projects simultaneously</li><li>Strong client service orientation</li><li>Interest in outdoor work</li><li>Available to travel for field surveys (up to 20% of the time)</li><li>Fluency in spoken and written French</li><li>Valid Driver's licence and access to a vehicle</li></ul>At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
