We are a growing organization that has been in business for 65 years. Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add Structures Technicians to our team.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:The Structures Technician maintains or modifies different types of aircraft to aviation standards. The incumbent possess the ability to: RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Perform sheet metal and composite repairs to aircraft components.</li><li>Provide high quality workmanship with attention to detail.</li><li>Read and interpret drawings.</li><li>Follow instruction and work to industry standards.</li><li>Maintain a tidy work area and be able to keep accurate work records.</li><li>Open to the idea of travel and working in and outside of Canada.</li><li>Ensure work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner.</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>AME (S) rated is preferred, however all levels of experience will be considered.</li><li>Approved training course completed is preferred (ICS also accepted).</li><li>Interpret Manuals/Drawings/Technical Data/Process standards.</li><li>Good hand skills.</li><li>Communication (spoken and written) take direction.</li><li>Ability to work at heights and confined spaces.</li><li>Able to work independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Reliable and punctual.</li></ul>BENEFITS:<ul><li>Choice of full-time or rotational schedule with equal time at home/off work.</li><li>Although preferred, there is NO RELOCATION REQUIREMENT for this opportunity.</li></ul>Compensation for this position will be competitive with market rates and based on experience.We support diversity, equity, and a workplace that is free from harassment and discrimination. This includes operating and maintaining various machines, loading and unloading frequently heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.</li><li>Help equipment operator, carpenters and other skilled labor as needed.</li><li>Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.</li><li>Loading or unloading construction materials.</li><li>Assembling and disassembling temporary structures such as scaffolding.</li><li>Remove, fill, or compact earth.</li><li>Follow instructions from supervisors.</li><li>Assist all trade workers.</li><li>Ability to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.</li><li>Perform site clean-up.</li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Must hold a valid Driver's License.</li><li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.</li><li>Ability to work in all weather.</li><li>Workers must be punctual and reliable.</li><li>Experience as a laborer in the construction industry is a plus.</li></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul>BENEFITS:<ul><li>$20-$25 an hour, depending on experience.</li></ul>We support diversity, equity, and a workplace that is free from harassment and discrimination.
