HR Coordinator Job Education Requirements
Some jobs require candidates to be Certified Human Resource Professionals (CHRP). To get this certification, you must pass the National Knowledge Exam (NKE) and be ready to take a secondary exam after a few years of work experience. You should be comfortable using software in a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and the Microsoft Office Suite. Most HR Coordinator jobs do not require a college degree, but some companies prefer to see at least some experience working in HR.
