We dairy you!Agropur is looking for Production Supervisor – Operational excellence leader to join is Don Mills team.The Production Supervisor – Operational excellence leader will own a small business unit and drive performance of that area through execution of the operational excellence/lean program.How Agropur invests in YOU<ul><li>Recognition of years of service in calculating vacation time.</li><li>Flexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine service.</li><li>Employee assistance program.</li><li>Opportunity to invest in you (Career Path, etc.).</li><li>Pension plan including employer contributions.</li><li>Salary range  004: 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)</li></ul>What’s involved in this roleMore specifically, the Don Mills Production Supervisor– Operational excellence leader’s responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Comply to corporate food safety and quality standards and strive to continuously improve.</li><li>Comply to corporate safety and health standards and drive a culture of continuous improvement.</li><li>Define the asset investment requirements for the area of responsibility.</li><li>Manage the execution of mini capital projects.</li><li>Manage short term operational issues in a production environment.</li><li>Track key KPI’s daily, weekly and monthly and deliver on annual KPI commitments.</li><li>Utilise a loss and waste system to identify chronic problems and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Utilise focused improvement tools such as 5 why’s, fishbone, DMAIC and SMED to eliminate losses.</li><li>Implement and sustain high levels of 5S.</li><li>Implement and autonomous maintenance program.</li><li>Define and implement standard work systems.</li><li>Work with maintenance to ensure an effective preventive maintenance program exists.</li><li>Coach and train operators, mechanics and supervisors.</li><li>Collaborate with quality, safety, maintenance and other functions to resolve problems and improve performance.</li><li>Manage change in the business unit.</li></ul>What you need to join our team<ul><li>College Diploma or University Degree in an Engineering or science field.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a unionized production facility.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years strong experience with operational excellence/lean.</li><li>Green Belt (an asset).</li><li>Computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word and Excel).</li><li>Knowledge of quality assurance systems HACCP and SQF (an asset).</li></ul>We dairy you!
