With the ultimate goal of providing the best authentic tattoos possible for our clients.Constantly growing and always looking for outstanding talents, we are now in search for additions to our family. At this time, we are interested in artists skilled in Fine Line, Blackwork, Micro Realism, Watercolour, Illustrative, Floral or other outstanding styles. The ideal candidate will have years of experience working with this trend and be able to prove it by demonstrating a professional portfolio.There are currently 4 vacancies available at our Vancouver location.The artists must possess the following qualifications and capacities:<ul><li>A feel for the flow, and dynamics of drawing, as well as an extraordinary spatial awareness for skillful transposition of complex images onto the human body</li><li>Ability to tastefully integrate background elements into the composition while preserving the artistic integrity of the central elements of the piece</li><li>Ability to effectively capture movement, and produce a feeling of dimensionality in different artworks</li><li>Outstanding shading skills and intricate dotting proficiencies</li><li>Immaculate attention to details</li><li>Experience working with designs that go full black and/or mezzotint</li></ul> Besides performing an exceptional artistic work, you will be also responsible for:<ul><li>Meeting with potential clients for consultations to discuss placement, size, full-length design, and estimated price of tattoo</li><li>Discussing options and details related to the tattoos</li><li>Preparing and demonstrating custom sketches to the customers</li><li>Following the highest level of health and safety regulations</li><li>Performing permanent art tattoo on clients</li><li>Bandaging clients and providing them with tattoo after-care knowledge and product options</li><li>Performing touch-ups for your tattoos when necessary</li></ul> Conditions of employment:<ul><li>Wage offered: $28.85/hour, 32 hours per week</li><li>Shifts will vary between 6-10 hours per day. The Freelance Makeup Artist will reflect the brand values and customer base. Responsible for achieving sales targets through the creation of an amazing experience and exemplary service. Main Duties:<ul><li>Sales:<ul><li>Strive to achieves event sales goals, and sales per hour target.</li><li>Create brand awareness through the sharing and demonstration of your product knowledge.</li><li>Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit within the parameters of the company guidelines.</li></ul></li><li>Customer Service:<ul><li>Lead by example at all times to promote the Tilbury Touch and exceptional customer service.</li></ul></li><li>Team Work:<ul><li>Demonstrate a positive ad cooperative approach towards your work and your colleagues</li><li>Assist and maintain an atmosphere of open and positive communication, professionalism ad creativity at all times.</li></ul></li><li>Operations:<ul><li>Ensure the counter/gondola is “customer ready” from open to close of business</li><li>Maintain excellent counter hygiene standards. Clean display units, tools and testers throughout the day.</li><li>Assist with maintaining the required inventory levels to include stock counts, rotation, timely replenishment.</li><li>Assist with visual merchandising, new launch displays, and collateral placement through communication with Sales and Artistry Executive.</li><li>Assist in the execution of events </li><li>Maintain consistent communication with Brand field team regarding any counter/gondola needs or concerns.</li><li>Maintain high standards managing schedule, clocking in and out and submitting time sheets on payroll application (allwork)</li></ul></li></ul>
