Physical demands of the position include, but are not limited to; • Frequent bending, walking, escorting, engagement in play/sport type activities; • Regularly sitting on low seats and bending/twisting/reaching, • Repetitive movements, possibly in awkward positions, • Based on individual circumstances, may be required to physically move a child, • Able to move/run quickly and/or respond safely from a standing, sitting, kneeling, etc. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst, the Behaviour Therapist develops program plans, delivers parent education sessions and works directly with children and youth with autism and their families in the direct implementation of treatment rooted in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
