We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Senior Automation QA Engineer to enhance our Python based automation projects. We have been ranked #1 for Market Impact by Everest Group four times in a row and ranked #1 for completeness of vision, test advisory and Digital Business Assurance in Gartner Magic Quadrant!In this role, you will:<ul><li>Automate assigned areas/features using the existing Framework and provide the test estimations, build automation scripts using Python & Unix.</li><li>Responsible for overall quality of testing deliverables/activities.</li><li>Support the implementation of the QE Program and overall QE process and standards through continuous test execution and reporting.</li><li>Leverages the existing automation frameworks, tools and artefacts to ensure the testing process is continuous, comprehensive and fully autonomous.</li><li>Closely work with the Application Development team remotely as one team to integrate quality engineering mindset/concepts within the DevOps framework/pipeline.</li><li>Work with Sr. QE lead/ Manager across LOB to identify E2E application changes to drive QE strategies during testing.</li><li>Responsible for doing hands on testing, technical coaching, mentoring, training, and day-to-day interaction with a team of QE practitioners, and developers and driving test case for projects/programs.</li></ul>What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):<ul><li>Minimum of 8+ Yrs. of experience in test automation with at least 2+ yrs. of hands-on Python expertise and 6+ years in other automation tool.</li><li>Hands-on experience in Python, SQL and Unix testing platform, code reviews prior to code deployments, integration test automation.</li><li>Good experience in a QE/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases).</li><li>Experience in a variety of test automation frameworks/tools e.g., (Cucumber,Robot Framework, SoapUI, Selenium, TestNG) and script development using Python.</li><li>Must have good experience with SQL databases and writing complex queries.</li><li>Good knowledge of Testing Life Cycle, Shift left approach and Defect Management processes for application support and development.</li><li>Good knowledge with QE Processes, Methodologies and Test Design techniques with hands-on experience on ALM, JIRA and Confluence.</li><li>Should have experience testing HDFS/HIVE, Cloudera, Helios.</li><li>Hand on Elastic Search , Kibana , Cloud services experience</li></ul>What will help you stand out (preferred skills):<ul><li>Experience in the banking domain is a plus.</li><li>QA-related certification. E.g.
