Rate of pay: $26.82 hourly This is a CONTRACT role expected to end 12/31/2025. Schedules will vary week to week. Candidates must have flexibility in their availability and able to work all shifts (days/afternoons/nights) and up to 36-40 hours/week. What’s involved in the Machine Operator role: Assist in the production of safe, legal and quality products that meet customer, corporate, audit and government requirements/specifications. Aim for continuous improvement at all times by participating in root cause analysis, management meetings, AIP discussions and VPM or HACCP discussions as requested. New employees shall attend food safety, quality and process control orientation training and at minimum yearly training after that (and when changes are made or refresher training is required.). For Handling Quality, Regulatory, Legality and Food safety issues, the employee shall notify a Production Supervisor or a member of the Quality Assurance team. They will observe the issue and help investigate the cause where possible. Together with the employees, a solution will be determined and shall be implemented. The Quality Assurance team shall determine the final amount of non-conforming product to put on hold for further evaluation or disposal. The Quality Assurance team shall determine the disposition of all finished product (ie: release, hold, hard hold, rework, disposal). All employees responsible for completing process controls shall follow corporate and in-house procedures on their completion and document control. All deviations shall be reviewed by the area Supervisor, who will ultimately determine the correct corrective action to take and will sign off on each deviation to ensure that they are corrected.
