Reporting to the General Manager, the Recruitment Specialist will play a critical role in the selection and onboarding of key talent who share in our Safely Home vision.This is a high-volume role, responsible for conducting upwards of 15 – 20 interviews per day during peak periods.Typical positions to be filled are part-time School Bus Drivers and maintenance personnel.The ideal candidate will possess:<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of high-volume recruitment experience</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office</li><li>Experience with UKG or similar ATS considered an asset</li><li>Exemplary written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends, as required</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>High-volume recruiting on very tight deadlines</li><li>Conduct interviews for various positions</li><li>Prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork as per company and legislative requirements</li><li>Driver file maintenance and compliance for audit purposes</li><li>Conduct pre-employment drug and alcohol screening for candidates</li><li>Complete daily and weekly recruitment reports</li><li>Represent the company at job fairs and career events</li><li>Work with the recruitment team to identify new sourcing strategies for target demographics</li><li>Identify opportunities to refine the recruitment process to improve efficiencies and the candidate experience</li><li>Various administrative duties</li></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul><ul></ul>Typical hours are 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, however, these may vary depending on organizational needs.
