This position is a hybrid position with remote work primarily, and occasional onsite meetings in Edmonton, Alberta. Senior Business Consultant, eHealth - Job Description: This role involves working on strategic planning and alignment within the Primary and Preventative Health Services. The Senior Business Consultant will engage with senior and executive-level stakeholders to facilitate the development and adoption of information systems, with a focus on the Alberta health system. Senior Business Consultant, eHealth - Responsibilities: • Lead, facilitate, and document strategic plans and priorities • Identify work to achieve organizational vision • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and focus groups • Develop presentations and information for senior leaders and committees • Assist with risk and issues management • Develop and execute change management and communication plans • Create business cases with key stakeholders • Document project backgrounds, financial models, and implementation strategies • Provide quality assurance for business case documentation • Conduct market analysis and research • Lead interviews to align technical systems with business requirements • Assist in developing Privacy Impact Assessments Senior Business Consultant, eHealth - Mandatory Skills: • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills • Experience with the Canadian health system, ideally Alberta's • Knowledge of Health Information Act (HIA) and Electronic Health Regulation • Experience with senior/executive-level stakeholders in health systems • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in strategic planning and information systems adoption • Ability to conduct market analysis and research Senior Business Consultant, eHealth – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) • Experience with Privacy Impact Assessments • Understanding of current industry trends in health systems • Experience in quality assurance for documentation • Knowledge of change management practices Senior Business Consultant, eHealth – Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract position. Senior Business Consultant, eHealth - Start Date: ASAP.
