How you'll make an impact <ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>You will prospect for new clients by networking within the community and industry, seeking referrals from existing clients and partnering with Branch Managers to identify new opportunities.</li><li>Build and maintain a knowledge-base of coverage lines as well as risk management solutions and insurance products.</li><li>You will articulate the client value proposition in a manner that distinguishes Gallagher's capabilities and approach from the competition.</li><li>Effectively qualify opportunities and pursue those with a high probability of success.</li><li>You will develop a keen understanding of clients' business needs and use the vast network of Gallagher industry and specialised experts to serve these needs.</li><li>Actively engage clients by anticipating and helping plan for their future needs.</li><li>Build relationships with external firms and individuals with clients who have needs that Gallagher could help with.</li><li>Build relationships with carriers to understand their solutions relative to client needs and factors that determine commissions and fees.</li><li>Stay on top of industry and market trends that can impact prospects and clients, and maintain expertise to address their needs.</li><li>Develop proposals, contracts and renewal agreements by coordinating efforts of Gallagher Client Service Operations.</li><li>Research property to evaluate its general condition, type of construction, age and other characteristics to decide if it fits underwriting standards</li><li>Monitor insurance claims such as property damage or death</li></ul> About you <ul><li>A minimum of 1 year of commercial insurance experience and/or B2B sales experience, along with appropriate insurance licensing, is required.
