First Smiles Daycare located at 126 Wellington Street West Aurora Ontario require an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant with a passion to work with children and someone who is reliable, punctual, energeticType: This is a permanent full-time positionThe Job duties of this position include:<ul><li>Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.</li><li>Engage children by telling stories, singing, crafts etc.</li><li>Prepare snacks and arrange furniture for lunch and rest periods.</li><li>Organize space, materials and equipment prior to activities.</li><li>Submit written observations on children to the Supervisor.</li><li>Use observations to plan play activities.</li><li>Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping duties.</li><li>Attend to the children’s needs for eating, dressing sleeping and toileting.</li><li>Provide a daily balance of quiet/active, indoor/outdoor and individual/group activities.</li><li>Assist the early childhood educator in keeping records.</li><li>Ensure children’s safety and well-being.</li><li>Assist with curriculum implementation.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Completion of secondary school.</li><li>Early childhood education certificate will be an asset.</li></ul>Salary: $ 50000 TO 55000 per annum depending upon qualifications & experience. You will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
